Film night
Film night
Thank you to everyone who attended the ‘Midnight in Paris’ film night on Thursday October 20.
The film night at Luna Leederville was a huge success and we are very grateful to everyone who came along, bought raffle tickets and supported us in our very first fundraiser.
We raised enough money to support many children for their entire high schooling. You can feel confident that 100% of the money raised will be going to pay school fees for the children on Koro Island because Alistair and I are happy to provide all costs associated with administration of the Fund.
The following raffle prizes were drawn during the film:
•Four tickets to Heartworm, a play written and performed by Shirley Van Sanden at the Blue Room Theatre. The play runs between November 8 to 26.
•An original Bialetti caffettiera (Italian-made stove-top espresso maker) from The Good Store – for useful presents
•Two international beer gift packs from Beverage Australia
•Four bottles of wine from The Wine Gang
•One hour of gardening services from Shardlow’s Complete Garden Care. Your choice of weeding, mowing, fertilizing or weed spraying.
•One initial naturopathy consultation from Remede Wellness Medicine in Mosman Park
• Four tickets to Patricia Corneliusʼ award-winning play, Slut, a searing examination of sexuality and the pressure to conform, from 1 November at Blue Room Theatre.
• Ten double passes to In Time, a film with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.
